My name is Rebekah Torres and I’m an LMFT Associate, under supervision of Amy Birchill Lavergne, M.Ed., LMFT-S, LPC-S. My supervisor can be contacted at 713-502-8028 or amy@newbraunfelstherapist.com.
I provide couples therapy for couples who are experiencing different concerns in their relationship. I have completed Gottman trainings level 1 & 2 and use some of the interventions and exercises to help me understand your patterns. I have experience working with betrayal and affair recovery, reconnecting after children, and concerns regarding communication. I simply enjoy exploring your story: how your relationship was, how it is, and how you want it to be.
I also work with middle school and high school students. Growing up can be complicated and figuring yourself out in the midst of school chaos can be even more complicated. My sessions include working on increasing self-esteem, ways to approach parents with hard conversations, managing the stress of being bullied at school and online, suicidal ideations or intrusive thoughts, and various other concerns.
